Actually, this particular parent-sitting episode has gone smoothly. Dad is 91, Mom is 83. They both need someone around as Dad’s balance is shot as is Mom’s back. My sister is their live-in caregiver. She’s also a fabulous wildlife artist. I stepped in to help while she tends her booth at a local art fair. Check out her work at http://petportraitsplus.8k.com/.
The “adventure” has been staying connected with what’s going on with the Fantasy in the City bundle-wise and getting back into writing mode while in parent-sitting mode. Talk about multitasking!
The bundle might not be flying off the shelf, but sales are steady and Jamie Ferguson, the curator and a fellow author, is doing some fun things, like author profiles (the good kind of profiling 🙂 on the bundle’s very own Facebook page!
As far as the writing, things are progressing — I’ll have news on upcoming stories and novels in the next post.
Now it’s time to make dinner!
